Tea?
Yes.
Tea is fine but the bags sometimes don't break down because apparently these days a large number of them are made of polyester.
So it's best to tip the tea out of the bags before flinging them on the compost heap unless you know for sure the bags are made from a natural material or you don't mind the polyester bags in your soil.
