My schoolhas been making compost this year from the school dinner leftovers )not the cooked food) and I think there is a problem because there are too many oranges. At home my compost heap hasn`t got a lot of heat but many worms whereas the school one gives off a lot of heat (and smell when i turn it) but has few worms. In both I put old or this year`s shredded oak leaves as brown material( aswell as cardboard in the school one)- Any advice on what to do?
