Paper?
Maybe.
Normal printer or lined paper can usually be composted as long as it isn't too ink-soaked.
Paper can help with airflow and soaking up excess water in a heap - just keep it balanced with plenty of garden waste or veg peelings.
Glossy paper and paper printed with glossy colour inks should be avoid though because of the chemicals involved.
